What Sets Our Instructors Apart

Not all Pilates instruction is created equal.

At our studio, every instructor has completed extensive training beyond basic certification and has been evaluated in real teaching environments before being approved to lead classes.

We prioritize:

  • Safety through proper training

  • Precision through hands-on coaching

  • Consistency across every class and instructor

You won’t find guesswork here—only trained, approved professionals leading your sessions.

Founder/CEO/Instructor/Sound Bath Facilitator

Tara

Tara is a fitness fanatic with a long history of fitness and sports. She has played basketball her entire life, and in the process developed many injuries which had made it painful to do many workouts. Being an active person and loving fitness, she couldn't live without a daily workout. That's when she found Pilates. Pilates truly saved her by not only making working out fun again but painless. Being passionate about Pilates and fitness, Tara gained her personal training certification through NASM. She went on to get her 500+ hour comprehensive Pilates certification through Club Pilates. Tara didn't stop there, she then became certified in TRX, Kettle Bells, Percussive Therapy and Corrective Exercise Specialist.

Tara recently added to her certification in a different direction: She became a certified sound therapy and sound healing practitioner.

Lead Pilates Instructor & Sound Bath Facilitator

Rian

Rian is a Southern California native who began her Pilates journey at age 10 to balance her intense classical ballet training. When a career-ending knee injury forced an early retirement from ballet, Pilates became a bigger part of her life to rehabilitate and stay active. With a desire to learn more about the body and stay within the dance community, Rian began choreographing, instructing dance, and movement directing while simultaneously working in TV animation.

In 2018, Rian began and completed her 500-hour comprehensive Pilates and anatomy certification through Club Pilates and has been continuing to learn and grow ever since. To deepen her understanding of biomechanics and human anatomy, she utilized different training approaches (such as free weights and HIIT training), to have a holistic approach to her own practice, Rian became a certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach through NASM. Rian also has a deep knowledge and experience in Self-Myofascial Release, Trigger Point, TRX, and Cardio Barre.

After leaving a corporate job and seeing the stress from the world around us, Rian became interested in sound bath healing and meditation. She was specially trained one-on-one by Eva Estlander in Helsinki, Finland and also by leading practitioners such as Tom Llewelyn, Magdalena Leszczyc, Andrew Ford, Soulremember Academy, and DualCore Fitness.

Rian’s approach to all forms of training is rooted in intention and precision, ensuring her clients use the correct muscle and feel the change in their body. As the lead instructor at DualCore Fitness, it’s important to her that each client receives quality instruction and guidance, regardless of who is teaching.

Instructor

Stormy

Stormy is a lifelong music fan and avid concertgoer who never considered herself to be “into fitness” - until she discovered Pilates in 2021. Experiencing the practical results of a dedicated Pilates practice in her own life (including painlessly standing up for hours at concerts and lugging heavy bass gear to and from gigs without injury or strain) inspired her to become a certified instructor. She completed a 500+ hour Comprehensive Classical Pilates Certification program in 2024 through Pilates Punx in Los Angeles, CA.

Stormy’s fitness philosophy is to make the most of the work so that your body is strong when it’s time to play. She incorporates elements of her Classical Pilates training into her contemporary teaching style, with an emphasis on precision, control, and proper form. Believing that Pilates is for “every body,” Stormy particularly enjoys working with beginners and facilitating injury rehabilitation. She encourages clients at all levels to challenge themselves and celebrate their wins.

Ana

Ana is a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) who works at a non-profit for young and adult learners with various disabilities and has been in this industry for 16 years. With this level of dedication, it brought her to find meditation and sound baths as a part of her self-care routine to provide efficient and effective services and maintain work-life balance.

In the journey of finding herself, Ana completed a 150-hour Meditation Teacher Training in Bali under Leah Santa Cruz and Paul Teodo. She then completed her 80-hour sound bath training at DualCore Fitness under Tara and Rian’s guidance. Apprentice Instructor

Madison

An east coast native, Madison first discovered Pilates in New York nearly a decade ago when a friend was completing their Pilates certification and recruited her for their practice teaching. Coming full circle, Madison is now completing her 500+ hour Pilates certification through DualCore Fitness.

After practicing Pilates on and off for years, Madison could not have found DualCore at a better time. Like many people in this day and age, she started to feel the effects of working long hours at a desk. Through committing to a routine of Pilates and FHIT, she found consistent movement that not only improved her mobility and posture, but also strength.

Madison is trained in functional anatomy, mat pilates, reformer pilates, jumpboard, tower, and myofascial release. Blending classical principles with contemporary science, Madison strives to help both beginner and experienced clients continuously improve and reach their goals.

Instructor

Armani

Armani began her Pilates journey in 2024, initially drawn to the practice as a way to deepen her understanding of movement, strength, and mind/body connection.

She began her formal training with Foundations of Anatomy before earning her Mat Pilates certification in 2025 and later expanding her education into Reformer Pilates and Jumpboard.

Armani has a particular love for community-centered programming and group classes. She believes movement can be a powerful way to bring people together and loves creating classes that feel inclusive and approachable while still giving clients a strong, intentional workout. Her experience includes teaching students across a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels, as well as organizing donation-based classes and wellness programming within local communities.

Her teaching style is energetic, encouraging, and precise without taking itself too seriously. Armani wants clients to understand not only what they’re doing, but where they should be feeling it and why. Her goal is for everyone to leave class feeling stronger, more confident in their movement, and more connected to their body.
